Dr. Mickaël RAULET received his Ph.D. degree in 2006 from INSA in electronic and signal processing in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric ITE (Rennes – France). He joined ATEME (http://ateme.com/) in 2015 where he is VP in charge of the research and innovation. He previously worked for the research Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications of Rennes (IETR) until 2014 where he was a researcher in rapid prototyping of video coding standards and he was project leader of several French and European projects. Until 2014, he was also a member of a new research institute IRT B-COM (http://b-com.org). His particular interests include dataflow programming, signal processing systems and video coding. Currently, his focus is directed towards ATSC 3.0, next-generation video codecs and artificial intelligence. Since 2007, he was particularly involved in the ISO/IEC MPEG standardization activities as a Reconfigurable Video Coding Expert. He is the author of 3 book chapters and more than 80 international conferences and journal papers. Dr Mickaël Raulet served as a member of the technical committee of the Design and Implementation of Signal Processing Systems (DISPS) of the IEEE Signal Processing Society and as member a “Circuits and Systems for Video Technology” editorial board.
