Dave Marston is a Senior R&D Engineer at the BBC. He joined BBC R&D in 2000, working mainly in the area of audio research. In recent years Dave has been working on the Audio Definition Model (ADM), all the way from the initial idea. He has been involved in the generation of several ADM-related standards in the ITU. Dave has also been closely involved with the EBU for many years, including ADM and audio quality assessment work. He is currently chairing an EBU group on the development of ADM profiles. Dave has worked on EU-funded collaborative projects in the area of audio including Orpheus and ICoSOLE over the past few years.
